Olivegreen is a business set up by John Culpin to offer a range of property maintenance and garden landscape services. John has for the past 34 years been involved in domestic landscape construction, during this time in different companies he has been directly involved in building and managing both large and small landscape schemes.
With a keen eye for detail, he has constructed 2 Silver-Gilt medal gardens at the Chelsea Flower show and 4 gardens at Hampton Court including one that won a gold medal and Best of show.
Throughout his career, John has always enjoyed looking at the jobs that everybody else says cannot be done and finding a way to complete them. Customers properties have always been treated in a way that he would wish his own to be treated, making sure that at the end of the day all is clean and tidy, leaving the customer to do nothing else but to admire the days work. At the end of the job asking himself if he would be happy to pay for the job that had been completed.

Along the way, John has built up a network of really professional, hard-working and honest contractors. It is these contractors who share John’s passion for quality and service who will be working alongside John on larger projects.
Small works will be completed by John personally, whilst specialist and large schemes will be completed with the help of John’s network of specialist landscapers, electricians, plumbers and roofers that he has used both on his own properties and for work when he was previously employed.
He has worked with them all for at least 10 years and trusts them implicitly.

Specimen Tree & Shrub Planting
Over the years there has been an increase in the availability and use of large specimen trees and shrubs that can be used to give instant impact or screening within domestic gardens.
We have gained a lot of experience in planting these large trees and shrubs in both our work in show gardens and on commercial sites.
We take pride in the fact that we can adapt this experience to move and plant large trees, shrubs and pieces of stone within smaller domestic gardens which do not have access to larger more mechanical lifting equipment.
